Overview

This project consists of ramp revisions, intersection and frontage road operational improvements between FM 2252 and Schwab Road in New Braunfels.

Project Description

• Operational improvements at FM 2252, FM 1103 and Schwab Rd consisting of the construction of new entrance and exits ramps both northbound and southbound on I-35.
• Construction of a VIA Park and Ride facility both NB and SB between FM 1103 and Schwab Rd on the sites of the old Rest Areas.

Funding

• Construction cost: $24.6 million

Schedule

• Construction began in July 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2022.
• 100% completed
