Section 2B: TEMPLE (S. LOOP 363 TO N. LOOP 363)

  • Completed pouring the northbound frontage road bridge structure over the BNSF Belco yard.
  • Began signal work at 57th St., Adams/Central Ave. interchange, and Avenue H.
  • Completed the north-to-south turnaround at Avenue H.
  • Poured the northbound frontage road bridge structure over the BNSF Belco yard.
Down the Road
  • Continue construction of the BNSF underpass.
  • Continue construction of the west side of the Adams/Central Ave. interchange.
  • Continue installation of the project power grid and roadway lighting.
  • Continue construction of various overhead sign columns and the concrete rail throughout the project.
  • Continue installing overhead sign trusses at various locations throughout the project.
  • Continue construction of the Avenue H overpass.
  • Complete pouring the northbound frontage road bridge rail over the BNSF Belco yard.
  • Continue signal work at 57th St., Adams/Central Ave. interchange, and Avenue H.
  • Continue final striping operations at various locations.

Section 3A-1: TEMPLE TO TROY (N. LOOP 363 TO N. TROY CITY LIMIT)

  • Completed working on the northbound frontage road between Berger/Hart Rd. and FM 1237.
  • Completed working on the North Troy intersection, Berger/Hart Rd. intersection, FM 1237 intersection, and West Main St./FM 935.
  • Completed all mainlane striping, including the multipolymer white skips and thermoplastic edge lines.
  • Completed final striping on the northbound and southbound frontage roads and intersections.
  • Completed installing metal-beam guard fence at various locations on the northbound frontage road.
  • Completed permanent seeding.
  • Completed installing block sodding.
  • Completed setting five control cabinets at various locations through the project.
  • Completed the punch list (final list of wrap-up tasks).
  • Completed surface preparation for final striping for the northbound and southbound mainlanes.
  • Completed installing original contract mailboxes at the northbound frontage road.
  • Repaired driveways at two locations.
Down the Road
  • Complete final striping for black contrast skip lines on the northbound and southbound mainlanes.
  • Complete installing mailboxes added to contract.
  • Continue applying anti-graffiti treatment on bridges and retaining walls.
  • Repair the driveway at Love's.
  • Install the electric meter at Pegasus Dr. (Oncor task).
  • Complete supplying power from new meter to illumination in the area.
  • Complete final inspection.

Section 3A-2: TROY to bruceville-eddy (N. TROY CITY LIMIT to woodlawn rd.)

  • Completed placement of final asphalt layer on the northbound and southbound frontage roads.
  • Completed work on the new FM 107 bridge.
  • Completed work on the new intersection of the northbound frontage road and FM 107.
  • Completed surface preparation for the final striping for the northbound and southbound main lanes.
  • Completed pouring driveways at various locations on the northbound and southbound frontage road.
  • Completed installing initial contract concrete riprap and stone riprap for culverts at various locations on the southbound frontage road.
  • Completed setting control cabinets at various locations through the project.
  • Completed installing the metal-beam guard fence on the northbound and southbound frontage roads.

  • Completed installation of the new dynamic message sign.
  • Completed re-surfacing FM 107/3rd St.
  • Completed placing topsoil and final seeding between the mainlanes and frontage roads between FM107 and UPRR bridge.

  • Complete placement of the final asphalt layer on the Big Elm side street.
  • Install bridge clearance signs.
  • Install decorative storefront rail at FM 107.
  • Complete striping multipolymer skip lines and thermal edge line.
  • Complete installing added areas of concrete riprap and stone riprap for culverts.
  • Complete installing mailbox posts at the northbound frontage road.
  • Complete shaping the ditches on the east side of the northbound frontage road and in the southbound frontage road.
  • Complete installing permanent signs throughout the project.
  • Complete items on the punch list for minor repairs and cleanup.
  • Finalize and complete erosion control measures.
  • Complete illumination at FM 107 after railroad agreement received.

SECTION 4B: WACO 12TH STREET TO N. LOOP 360

  • Began setting the traffic barrier on the southbound access road throughout the project area.
  • Began setting the traffic barrier on the northbound mainlanes to compress traffic to two lanes.
  • Began building up the northbound mainlane and shoulder to serve as temporary mainlanes later.
  • Permanently closed and removed the southbound off-ramp to 4th/5th Streets.
  • Permanently close and remove pedestrian bridge near 8th St.
  • Permanently closed the east 77 to south I-35 on-ramp.
  • Began work on sewer and water lines througnhout the project on the southbound access road.
  • Began work on driveway access points on the southbound access roads from N. Loop 340 southward.
  • Began permanent drainage along southbound access road south of Loop 340.
Down the Road
  • Continue building up the northbound mainlane and shoulder to serve as temporary mainlanes later.
  • Complete removal of the east 77 to south I-35 on-ramp.
  • Complete removal of the north I-35 to west 77 off-ramp.
  • Continue work on sewer and water lines throughout the project on the southbound access road.
  • Continue work on driveway access points on the southbound access roads from N. Loop 340 southward.
  • Begin installing temporary illumination and traffic signals.
  • Complete frontage road detours to shift traffic to reconstruct frontage roads.
  • Complete northbound mainlanes inside shoulder reconstruction/armoring.
  • Continue resetting temporary barrier and shifting traffic on northbound mainlanes.
  • Begin demolition of BUS 77 mainlanes bridges.
  • Begin 11th/12th St. Underpass demolition.
