I-35 is being expanded from four to six lanes from the Williamson County line to just north of Hillsboro.

The project will be financed through Proposition 12 and Proposition 14 funds and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Additional public hearings and meetings will be held to solicit feedback on individual sections of the expansion.
